Thank you for the run down. My fav to make is ravioli which is our hay making dinner. When I do go to the effort of making pasta I make enough to freeze. I freeze the ravioli free flow so I can just reach in and grab enough for dinner when we have been in the fields all day . It is a messy business! We have chickens and I literally grow my own organic wheat flour so - yeah - pretty cheap!

Your ducks are just perfect!

They're such comical little things. Matt and I spend our evenings discussing what they've been up to in the day as if we've been watching soaps.

Yes it would definitely be good to try ravioli. The shop bought ones are so stingy on their fillings as well!

Home made ravioli is the best. I lost my ducks to coyotes - all in one night - a few months ago and as a farmer who knows the risks - I was devastated. So I was thrilled to see the shot of yours happy in your back yard!

Was the tesco pasta made with organic flour? That would surely make a difference in price. I personally think homemade pasta is so much tastier so couple that with the fact that you had your own eggs and organic flour surely that raises the level a little 😂

Well done for working it all out!

Ha ha, yes absolutely! But at a certain point I thought I would likely be arguing against myself that homemade is always better and I guess the point of the project is to establish this list of priorities of what to do. So interesting to note all those little details that you miss when you pick up a packet in the supermarket though.
